An illuminating event – Mereside Lantern Parade and Christmas Lights ...

On 30th November 2017 LeftCoast commissioned artist Morwenna Catt from Hand Made Parade to host a free Lantern Making workshop for the residents of Mereside. Breathing new life into our hostel yard!

Following consultation with families using our hostel service, it was agreed that the rear yard at our family hostel unit needed be revamped. The project was to upgrade the facilities in the back yard to ensure our residents had a fun and enjoyable space to spend time. Lowmoor Community Garden receives funding from Greggs the Bakers!!

Well done to Lowmoor Community Garden association who recently secured funding of £875.00 from Greggs Foundation Environmental Grant.The association will be using the funding to help with the upkeep of the community garden as well as ensuring that they continue to provide free fruit and vegetables to local residents.
