As part of our commitment to provide good quality accommodation across our housing stock, our Assets Team has been working in partnership with local contractor Bambers to complete major improvement works to the block of properties incorporating 102-108 Grange Road, Layton.

The refurbishment has seen the façade of the 2 storey building completely transformed with new external panelling; providing a sleek, modern look and reducing future maintenance requirements.

Other aspects involved in the improvement works included:

  • Full roof replacement
  • New PVCu windows and communal doors
  • Modern door entry intercom system
  • Ramp access to the front of the communal entrance, improving accessibility
  • Full storey height luma glass glazing to the front of the building, increasing the aesthetic.
